This ( the pic attached in this post) was my fan art drawing for a random crossover of anime/manga characters from 3 different series. Manji from Blade of Immortal (front below), Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin/ Samurai X (middle) and Sesshomaru from Inuyasha (up).
There was a certain reason why I chose them to be featured in one crossover drawing. Aside from them as likable characters for me, I found that their stories also rather interesting in a way somehow they shared similar traits of becoming a good man after horrible wrong doings they've done in the past.
Firstly, Manji from Blade of Immortal. Actually, I knew him from the live action movie rather than the manga. I watched the movie back then a few years ago and it was good. In brief, he needed to redeemed himself from his 'sins' for killing many people in the past by living his life way longer and did good things after he met a 'witch' worm who cursed him. He embarked on a journey to get rid of the curse and to accompany Rin, an orphan who reminded him a lot of his late sister.
The next one would be Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin or also known as Samurai X. This one was much more famous as manga, anime even in live action movies. His story revolved around his atonement after living his past life as samurai by not killing anyone anymore to the point of using his reverse blade. A blade that won't kill his opponent. However, the past haunted him throughout his new life.
As for the last one would be Sesshomaru from Inuyasha series. He was not the main protagonist in the story as the other two I've mentioned earlier nor having certain scars on his face as theirs, but he shared the same dark past which eventually changed along the way. He hated his half brother (Inuyasha) for being existed and thought that his existence was a disgrace for his kind. He also hated human, however, it all changed after he met Rin, a naive and kindhearted little orphan girl who insisted to follow him everywhere although he ignored her most of the time. In the end, that girl slowly changed his heart in viewing things in his life.
That's all for the short explanation as to why I drew this fan art with these 3 characters.
