PRINCESS MONONOKE & LAPUTA, CASTLE IN THE SKY (Studio Ghibli Animation movies)
Princess Mononoke or Mononoke Hime is a 1997 Japanese animated epic historical fantasy film from Studio Ghibli by Hayao Miyazaki. It was set in 14th century era where humans, animals and gods live in harmony but all soon start to crumble by the plague, and greed mostly caused by none other than human. It was magical, but at the same time tragic and somehow depicted and related to the reality of everyday life throughout time. I love how all the characters are described in it and also how beautiful backgrounds shown in the story. Also Mononoke herself as the main character in the movie as if she represented independent feminism way before the era, also the moral values just can't be ignored. I would rated 9 out of 10 for this movie. I have written the article separately before but I would like to highlight it with another movie from the same Studio/ Producer.

DARK-HAIRED SIDE KICKS in Several Famous Anime/ Manga

Dark haired side kicks from several famous anime/manga series. I need to point out on the title due this specific aspect of the characters which I will explain shortly below. However, first of all, I need to introduce a little bit about each character and from which anime & manga they are from.
1. Dragon Shiryū (Doragon no Shiryū) - 2nd from right in the picture - is one of the important fictional character from the SAINT SEIYA manga & anime created by Masami Kurumada as the side kick and nakama/close friend to Seiya as the main character. He is considered the most mature and wisest of the five saint. Shiryū is the Bronze Saint of the Dragon constellation which possesses legendary defensive and offensive properties on his cloth. He is also one of the ten surviving orphans trained to become Athena's Saints by Mitsumasa Kido. When Kido passed away, Shiryū and his allies become the main guardians of his adopted granddaughter, Saori, as she is Athena's reincarnation.

Demon Slayer: Kibutsuji Muzan x Tsugikuni Yoriichi - An example of human's utmost good side and bad side
Now let's discuss about Kibutsuji muzan and tsugikuni yoriichi. They are the 2 strongest but opposing characters in the Demon Slayer/Kimetsu no Yaiba story.
Kibutsuji Muzan is the main antagonist who represents human nature at its worst which he is a selfish, narcissistic demon who has the principle of living only for himself without caring about how many parties suffer and are harmed by him. His obsession is the craziest side of humans with all their greed for eternal life, but being young, very strong, able to do whatever they want and being rich. In fact, he doesn't hesitate to kill anyone who gets in his way. Even though he still has a fatal weakness that continues to haunt him even though he has lived for more than 1000 years, a weakness that makes whatever he achieves feel meaningless if it disappears without a trace, including himself. He was a scary figure and hated by everyone.
Meanwhile, Tsugikuni Yoriichi is 180 degrees opposite to Muzan. He comes from a prominent family but has great empathy and was willing to give in for his brother, abandoning all ambitions to occupy an important position even though he was born a genius and tragically he also has to lose everyone he loves. Despite all that, he did not change but remained a selfless person, always helping those around him until the end of his life. He'd never prioritized wealth, power, strength but only wanted to live in peace. Even though being a good person is not always rewarded in the end, he didn't change. Thus making him a legendary and memorable figure. He was also the only figure who made Muzan felt insecure because he would almost perished if he didn't escape quickly like a true coward.
So what lesson can we take from here? Always be a good person no matter what happens because karma never makes a mistake and this world is not eternal and life has an end. Don't follow your desires which will lead you to negative things.

Detective Conan/ Case closed: A Manga that had spanned over 30 years!
I've watched this anime for the first time on local television and it was great. The theme, the story and criminal cases were intriguing. It goes both ways with the main plot and the stand-alone cases.
There are a lot of info for this manga/anime which already published and aired for 30 years this year. There is no sign of stopping anytime soon though. Therefore for those who wait whether the main character will be able to move on with his life or stay the same is still unknown until when.
Good luck for those who still follow it.

About NaruSaku and Naruto continuation
Hmm, I'm amazed that after all these years, some people are still checking out my blog just to read my old narusaku doujinshis. I'm grateful and thankful for everyone who did read it. :)
Naruto was once my favorite manga and I was so into it especially narusaku until the faithful day of the unwanted ending in my taste. I know it was the author's right to do whatever he wanted with it, but as a once hardcore fan, I couldn't accept it and prefer to just let it go. The story was great, the characters, the plot and everything except the ending. I admire the art too. This was my old pencil drawing that I recolored digitally a few years ago. And about the continuation from the story about naruto and his friends' children, I chose not to read or care because it is simply done for me. I drew some more narusaku fan arts for fellow fan service which I might upload it here later or when I have the right time.
By the way today is my birthday and instead of celebrating it, I chose to post 2 articles here :D.

A thought after Shingeki no Kyojin ( Attack on Titan) manga ended
Well, it has been quite a long time since I wrote in this blog of mine due to many things in life that needed to be taken care of. This drawing was the latest drawing after the AOT manga ended and the final season of the anime aired on TV.
There were many things got into my mind after that. I have to say I might expect too much for its climax but in the end it wasn't that 'grande' as I thought. The solution from the series was simpler and shorter. Anyway, it is the author's privilege to end it as he wanted and I got nothing more to say. One thing for sure, this was one good manga with some inspiring values after all and to be honest, for me personally, the anime is a lot easier to understand than the manga.

HORIMIYA (Manga VS Anime VS Live Action Drama 2020)
It was a good heart warming and deep manga somehow with so many different characters inside which screamed 'Don't judge a book by its cover because everyone has their own reasons.'
I plan to continue reading the rest of the chapters later on.
Then, we will move on to the 13 episodes of its ANIME.Well, I have to say that it was good but too darn short. I wish it would be as detail as the manga but then again it didn't. It was good but lack of some details that explain more about some characters, some details in the overall story between Hori and Miyamura. It felt rushed towards the final episode.
As for the 10 episodes of LIVE ACTION DRAMA, I was entertained but not overwhelmingly impressed especially by the actor who played Miyamura. The story, the female lead who plays Hori and other was OK but he who plays Miyamura is kind of ruined it a bit with his stiff eyes expression and awkward smile. While the actress who played Hori gave her best effort for it, he instead didn't. At least that's how I felt when I saw them. Again, so many things were too short to the point if someone who didn't read the manga would be a bit confuse for the characters.
I would give the manga 8.5, anime 8 and drama 7.5 for me.
