Lately my long time online friend Joan, has been excitedly talked about the new development in One Piece manga's story with the appearance of some new characters. Although, I didn't share the same excitement since I didn't follow the story as she is, I still pay attention to what she shared about it. Apparently, there is this new character that she really like since it is related to her favorite character, Shanks. Shamrock is the new character which happened to be Shank's twin brother. We even did a collaboration drawing for twins before which I've posted in previous post.
Long story short, I kind of wanted to surprise her with a fan art drawing I made with coloring technique refers to the original art. And this was the result with Shanks and Shamrock drawing in my version. It might not be so similar to the original one but at least I tried to be as close as it was to it.
I have yet to know these characters other that what I saw on the live action and what my friend told me about them, nonetheless, I had fun in drawing them. I always find it fascinating to try new things in drawing since it is my hobby all my life. I will soon posted about another coloring technique on another favorite anime character of mine.
