Grant Your Wishes: Fairly Odd Parents X Doraemon

I drew these fan art drawings and combined it here to discuss an oddly similar premise of the series in certain part, which is granting the wishes of the child/ little boy as the protagonist in the story.

Firstly, Fairly Odd Parents, a nickelodeon cartoon series which shares a story of a young boy Timmy who has a couple of fairies as his 'parents' while his real parents were busy with their lives. They often granted his wish with their magic stick. 

Meanwhile Doraemon is a Japanese anime series about a robot cat which came from the future and stays at a young boy named Nobita. Doraemon provide futuristic advance tools to counter any problem Nobita had in his daily life.   

All the more obvious things in their stories are about sharing the common premise of a young boy with his childhood problems such as lack of love from their parents, being bullied by friends, lack of self confidence, daydreamer and more. 

However, the moral value of the story is that nothing can replace what should be there for them and their childhood, not even granting their wishes to fill the void and turn it into real happiness they need. This is my personal point of view as an adult though. Who knows perhaps the creator only want to describe what ifs scenario for children entertainment if they ever get some miracles like this in their lives and I think too much about it. 
 

Little Krishna & Choota Bheem ( Indian Animation & Cartoon TV series)

 Little Krishna is an original 13 standalone episodes animated television series based on the Legend of Hindu deity Krishna. The story revolved around little Krishna as a toddler and then grew bigger as a boy and his ability in defeating all his enemies from monster to other evil things. Despite the good messages the series tried to convey to their audience, however, it was criticized due to some part of the scenes which were inappropriate and might expose to violence for children when Krishna dismissed his enemies. I watched this series in one local TV a few years ago and considered this as a mere entertainment since I'm an adult myself and I do agree some scenes might not be a good thing to show for underage viewers although it is truly based on the true and known Krishna's legend. 

As for Chhota Bheem, it is an Indian cartoon series about a 9 years old strong boy and his friends who help people in their village when the problems occurred anytime. It was also aired in local TV after the little Krishna back then if I'm not mistaken. It was a more proper series for children due to its relation with daily life. 

Both series were famous in India. Personally, I like Little Krishna better than Chhota Bheem, because the animation was good and enjoyable in my eyes to see and also the story was deeper than just any children story. These are my fan art drawings for both series that I did last year.      

Skibidi Toilet & Italian Brainrot Anomali

I drew these fan art drawings because of my nieces' requests. To be honest, I have no idea what are those characters and how weird their appearances are. 

 

Skibidi Toilet was famous a couple of years back from social media stream. It was a game with anthropomorphic shape or a combination of human body with lifeless things such as toilet with human head inside it or human body with camera or other tools as his/her head. 

 

Meanwhile, Italian brainrot anomali was famous after artificial intelligent (AI) application started to become common to use among people. Again, it was about combining things and living creatures into weird characters. Everything we can imagine is somehow possible but it was destructive to the brain itself for how useless it is. Perhaps it was for fun initially but it rather became disturbing as time goes by. Therefore, it would be better not to let the young ones indulged into something like this for far too much and too long due to its effects. As the one who work on art field, something like this somehow ruined my imagination and aesthetically destroyed the original purpose of each creatures and things they messed up as those characters.

Here are some of my Greek mythology drawings that I made a few years ago. I chose some of famous Greek mythology or at least the stories which I like as a life lesson. Started from Hades & Persephone, Narcissus & Echo, Eros & Psyche, Orpheus & Eurydice, Medusa and Arachne. I also tell these myths in two languages, English and Bahasa Indonesia. Annual Bday Drawing as a gift for long time Online friend

I met her in one online fan website for Naruto in 2008 and we've been talking through chat online since then. After all these years, a lot of changes in internet culture and several anime, we've come to a special tradition related to our own birthday. We decided to give each other a wish gift in form of a custom drawing every year or annually. We made it based on what we want every year which mostly revolved around our favorite anime characters, our new hobby or other random things. 

 

Here are some drawings I made for her throughout the last 5 years although we've been doing it more than that and other collaboration drawings as well. She's currently into One piece anime and its characters, therefore, it has been there for most of the drawings or all anyway. 

 

 

 

AISCREAM TREND in Drawing

I drew it on a whim just because the song kept playing almost in all mainstream social medias along with some videos or at least some people who followed the trend that time.

I drew once with the reference of the official picture but the 2nd drawing was my own idea for it. All of it just for fun.
