well, I've been thinking a lot of times about stubbornness, devotion and a feeling of having the right to defend what we thought as the right thing to do. hold on,im not gonna talk about real life though,its about the pairing wars among fans who love certain couple in the anime/manga they love.
I've been an otaku,or a manga freak for a very long time, since i was a child,the cartoon has always been the thing that interest me the most,especially concerning my hobby,drawing.as i grew up,i begin to love all about Japanese things more than just manga/anime.i started to watch the drama,dorama they called it, and also the language,Nihongo.
well,enough for my background story of why am i so into Japanese things.now back into the main topic,about pairing in anime. as i learned many things concerning japanese culture and style of storylines,somehow I understand if one story would lead to somewhere.the main thing is to learn the main characters in the story.to simpler the topic even more,i want to talk about naruto and bleach pairing,since the 2 of the manga series has been the most popular among other as far as i know all over the world.
take a good guess of what will happen,and who is more compatible with who,until it came to the point where each fans try to defend what they believe by 'burning the flame of wars' against the other side who defend the opposite of them.they try in every possible way to influence or force them to be in the same thought,and refuse the fact that not everyone shares the same liking as they did.they forgot to realize that it is everyone's right to decide whatever they like. they will most likely try to provide all the facts they thought they knew 100% of the real deal in the story and directly thrown away all the other opposite opinions.
but in the end,its like beating around the bush and never ending discussions or arguments. i have several good friends,even my nephew shares the different thought of how things are,cause one single person has their own mind,and i don't even try to threat them,load them with full of my opinions of my liking,since i respect their choice.but some people just cant do that.i wonder what the author will decide in the end,most likely will hurt one side of the fanatics otaku or even both of them,but s/he has every right to do so anyway,coz s/he created the story from the beginning.
not all love shares a happy ending like Cinderella,some of them shares a bitter one like Pocahontas.love is not all about being together or having each other and would exist in any form that might last longer.as i watched several Japanese dramas and some mature anime as rurouni kenshin or basilisk, somehow Japanese stories has always been trying to get closer and closer to real everyday life,including what most people will experience in life.there are sadness,happiness, anger,frustration,longing,agony,and i dont know why the thing that i remember from all of it is the high spirit,high motivation,friendship,true love shown in a very visible way and clearer to see, also the 2nd chance.not all bad people will be forever bad,and good will be always good.people may change.although i know,i can imagine myself,if the one i support is not having a future i will be disappointed but if the reason is good enough then why not?its about being loyal to follow the story or just leave it.as easy as that.
As references,for Japanese dramas,I've watch more that 30dramas(that some of them based on manga/anime that i've also read/watched),such as :Zettai Kareshi, GTO,Gokusen,H2-kimi to itahibi,Densha Otoko,Girl from hell/Jigoku shojo,Hana kimi,Hana Yori Dango,Itazura Na kiss,Liar Game,Bloody Monday,etc.(I cant write all the 30dramas,but if u want to know i will make the lists later) all of it shares different genre,story,ending and background. the main thing that made things different to which couple that stay is by learning who are the leading roles and that's it.from unrequited love to happy love,or from friendship to true love and so on.so i will explain my opinion for naruto and bleach in the second part of this posting based on all those reference. click here for 2nd part.
